Matt is an up and coming underwater photographer and filmmaker, producing award winning images. He has been an active diver since 2014 logging hundreds of dives each year. His diving has taken him to many locations around the world photographing and filming a variety of marine species most recently he has travelled to Indonesia to film the Reef Manta (Manta alfredi).

His love for photography first started when he was 14 and now every waking hour he can be found planning shoots, taking images or working on post production. Matt's first passion was for taking landscape and wildlife images but his new found love is for the underwater environment and the life it sustains. 

As a founder member of EFU BSAC and a fully qualified BSAC Dive Instructor, Matt readily shares his knowledge of marine habitats and species behaviours with fellow students. Matt is keen to encourage all young people to get out and take photographs of subjects that interest them.

Matt has dived with highly renowned underwater photographers such as Alex Mustard, Martyn Guess and Jane Morgan. He recently graduated from Falmouth University with a First Class BA Hons degree in Marine and Natural History Photography.
